Ducati today announced the highly anticipated launch of the all-new 2025 Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak, bringing its legendary blend of sportiness and adventure to Indian shores. This model is the Ducati for those who love the sportier side of Multistrada, enjoying its performance on mountain passes and being won over by the charm of the single-sided swingarm, the precision of the 17-inch wheels with forged rims, and the boldness of the MotoGP-inspired livery.

The Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak is a motorcycle born from Ducati’s racing heritage, optimized for adventure and sport touring. It moves all the benchmarks of the category forward in terms of performance, while at the same time improving rider comfort and enjoyability in road use. The new Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak is the most sophisticated and performance-oriented adventure sport motorcycle, designed for precision and comfort, featuring a high and wide handlebar, a 170 hp V4 Granturismo engine, and an electronics package that is unique in the world.

For the first time, Ducati has chosen to transfer the technology and performance derived from the Panigale V4 S and Streetfighter V4 S to an adventure sport bike without sparing anything, creating a motorcycle that combines the best of both worlds. Track-like precision and agility, combined with the comfort and versatility of a true adventure sport. Its powerful and lightweight Euro5+ homologated engine, combined with electronic and chassis developments such as DVO, Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 suspension, and the advanced braking system, make the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak even more effective on challenging roads and winding mountain passes. At the same time, it guarantees great fun on the road with superior comfort in everyday riding.

Commenting on this landmark launch, Mr. Bipul Chandra, Managing Director, Ducati India, said, “The arrival of the 2025 Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak in India marks another exciting chapter in our pursuit of performance, design, and emotion. The Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak represents the purest expression of Ducati’s racing DNA, seamlessly blended with unparalleled adventure capabilities and overflowing with cutting-edge technology and distinctive character. With the 2025 model year, we’ve elevated its performance, comfort, and electronic sophistication, ensuring an even more thrilling and confidence-inspiring ride across India’s diverse landscapes. We’re proud to bring to our riders a motorcycle that perfectly blends Italian passion with relentless engineering precision.”

The 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine is Euro5+ homologated, maintaining its performance unchanged. It delivers 170 hp at 10,750 rpm and 123.8 Nm of maximum torque at 9,000 rpm. This engine features a counter-rotating crankshaft, derived from MotoGP experience, which works “against” the gyroscopic inertia of the wheels. The engine has been optimized with the inclusion of the Race Riding Mode, a dedicated quickshifter calibration, and an even more direct grip-throttle link in the High Power Mode. To improve emissions and consumption, the 2025 Pikes Peak V4 also introduces an extended electronic deactivation strategy for the rear cylinder bank, which now operates even when the bike is moving at low speeds, reactivating seamlessly when power is required. The V4 Granturismo maintains benchmark maintenance intervals, with an oil change scheduled every 15,000 km and valve clearance check and adjustment required every 60,000 km.

The design of the new Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak maintains the unmistakable Multistrada V4 family elements, integrating the distinctive 17″ front wheel and the single-sided swingarm. Its racing nature is underlined by the new “Pikes Peak” livery, inspired by Ducati MotoGP, Superbike, and Motocross bikes, with number plates on the side panels. To further emphasize its innate sportiness, the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak mounts numerous carbon fibre parts and a homologated Akrapovič titanium silencer. Other distinctive aesthetic elements include the low smoked plexiglass, the unmistakable gold anodization of the Öhlins fork sleeves, and the seat with the V4 logo and the Ducati Corse shield applied to the beak.

The riding position of the new Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak is specifically designed to ensure maximum control and optimize lean angles. Compared to the standard Multistrada V4, it features higher and more rearward footpegs to increase the maximum lean angle and facilitate body movement, while the handlebars are lower, narrower, and have a less accentuated curvature. This ergonomic combination translates into a better feeling in sports riding, while still maintaining a good level of comfort.

The chassis of the V4 Pikes Peak differs significantly from the Multistrada V4, developed around the 17″ front wheel for great precision and reactivity. The aluminium monocoque frame changes the steering head angle (25.75° compared to 24.5° of the Multistrada V4) and the trail and wheelbase dimensions have been recalibrated. The single-sided swingarm is mounted on a pivot repositioned 1 millimetre higher than the previous Pikes Peak, increasing the anti-squat effect of the suspension for more precise and effective riding.
The Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 suspensions have been optimized in strategies to offer greater comfort in touring use and, at the same time, more support in sports riding. The system works according to “event based” logic, as on the Panigale V4 S and Streetfighter V4 S, self-regulating based on the rider’s riding style. The Brembo braking system is at the top of the segment, featuring 330 mm diameter front discs with Brembo Stylema monobloc radial calipers and a new 280 mm rear disc with a floating caliper.

The 2025 Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak further raises the bar of its electronic package. In support of its controls, alongside the six-axis inertial platform, Ducati has developed the DVO (Ducati Vehicle Observer) functionality, capable of simulating the input of 70 sensors. This refines the strategies of ABS Cornering, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), and Ducati Traction Control (DTC). The electronics package also includes EBC (Engine Brake Control) adjustable on three levels, and an Electronic Combined Braking System with a front-to-rear strategy.
The Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak comes standard with advanced radar technology, enabling Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), and the new Forward Collision Warning (FCW) functionality. It also features Ducati Cornering Lights (DCL) for improved night visibility and a 6.5-inch (165 mm) colour TFT dashboard with an updated user interface, allowing independent control of suspension modes.

The electronic pack consist of:
Race eCBS (Electronic Combined Braking System)
Ducati Traction Control (DTC) DVO
Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) DVO
Ducati Slide Control (DSC)
Ducati Power Launch (DPL)
Ducati Quick Shift up/down (DQS)
Engine Brake Control (EBC)
Ducati Electronic Suspension (DES) 2.0
Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO)
The intervention levels of each control are integrated into default configurations on four Riding Modes (Race, Sport, Touring, Urban, Wet) that can be selected and customized by the rider.
