The Hyundai VENUE and VENUE N Line have received a 5-star safety rating from the Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (BNCAP). This rating applies to both adult and child occupant protection following crash testing conducted under the program’s specific parameters. Government officials and company leadership noted that these results follow the implementation of various safety technologies intended for the Indian market.
The structural composition of these models includes a reinforced body utilizing 71% high-strength steel, advanced high-strength steel, and hot-stamping applications. The vehicles are equipped with over 65 safety features, 33 of which are included as standard across all variants. Key technical specifications include six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill-start assist control (HAC), and three-point seatbelts with reminders for all seating positions. Additional equipment available on these models includes a surround-view monitor, electric parking brake with auto hold, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. Since the release of the updated models, the Hyundai claims the VENUE has recorded over 100,000 bookings.
