Triumph Motorcycles, a brand steeped in 124 years of heritage and passion for motorcycling, invites riders across India to be part of the global phenomenon ‘The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride’ (DGR), returning on 17th May 2026. Bringing together classic and modern classic motorcycle enthusiasts, the ride will take place across 50+ cities, uniting riders for a powerful cause – raising awareness and funds for men’s mental health and prostate cancer research.
In its 13th year, the DGR is not just a global event, it is a celebration of traditional motorcycling ethos, sartorial sophistication, and camaraderie. Since 2012, the event has united over half a million riders in more than 100 countries, contributing over USD $55 million towards men’s health initiatives.
A Growing Community of 1 Lakh Riders
This year’s ride is especially significant for Triumph in India, as the brand celebrates the milestone of surpassing 1 lakh motorcycles on Indian roads – a testament to its rapidly growing community and strong resonance with Indian riders.
Further strengthening its focus on accessibility and value, Triumph has transitioned its 400cc platform to a 350cc engine configuration, enabling customers to benefit from the lower 18% GST bracket – translating into on-road savings of up to INR 21,500 for customers. This has helped bring Triumph’s iconic blend of design, performance, and heritage to a wider audience.
Speaking on the announcement, Manik Nangia, President, Pro-biking, Bajaj Auto Ltd said, “The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is more than just a ride – it is a global movement that brings together motorcyclists for a meaningful cause. This year is particularly special for us as we celebrate crossing 1 lakh Triumph motorcycles on Indian roads. Our growing community reflects a shared passion for motorcycling and purpose. As always, Triumph is loved by Those Who Know the Difference and DGR perfectly embodies that spirit. We invite riders across India to join us, ride in style, and contribute to a cause that truly matters.
Ride with Style, Ride for a Cause
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride was founded in Sydney, Australia, by Mark Hawwa. Mr. Hawwa decided a themed ride would be a great way to combat the often negative stereotype of men on motorcycles while connecting the global motorcycling community and raising funds for a cause important to every rider. Triumph became the official motorcycle partner of the DGR in 2014, bringing a commitment to increase awareness about prostate cancer research and issues related to men’s mental health and ultimately increase fundraising in support of this worthy cause. From limited-edition Bonneville T120s to classic biking gear and plenty more, riders who manage to raise the most funds globally will take home a host of spectacular rewards.
While the cause is supported by Triumph, the rides are open for all kinds of modern classic and classic motorcycles of any brand.
Participants are encouraged to register at gentlemansride.com/register, don their most stylish attire, and ride in true gentlemanly fashion – all while supporting a cause that’s close to every rider’s heart.
