pinny, India’s leading full-stack used-car platform, partnered with the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) atthe 8th Auto Retail Conclave 2026 in New Delhi, bringing together policymakers, automotive leaders, dealers and ecosystem partners to discuss the evolving auto retail and mobility landscape.
Held under the theme “Bharat in the Driver’s Seat – Inclusive Mobility, Inspired Growth,” the conclave featured Shri H. D. Kumaraswamy, Hon’ble Union Minister for Heavy Industries & Steel, Mahmood Ahmed,Additional Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, and senior leaders from across the automotive ecosystem. Gurveen Bedi, Senior Vice President, Spinny, spoke on the evolving role of vehicle exchange in auto retail.

Bedi also highlighted the opportunity for dealerships to improve the economics of their used-car operations. Under Spinny’s exclusive partnership model, the company says dealerships can unlock up to 3% additionalvalue on a car by addressing costs and operational leakages across the used-car lifecycle.
Spinny currently works with OEMs including Tata Motors, Nissan, Kia and Tesla, with plans to bring more brands into its ecosystem as it expands its exchange proposition.
The conclave also addressed the broader evolution of mobility, including the growing adoption of electric vehicles and the need for a stronger supporting ecosystem. Discussions highlighted the importance ofgreater consistency in EV policies across states, along with easier access to charging infrastructure, electricity and related approvals.
Shri H. D. Kumaraswamy emphasised the importance of keeping the Indian customer at the centre as mobility evolves, while Mahmood Ahmed highlighted India’s progress on vehicle standards and the need for dealershipsto evolve towards a more integrated customer experience.
