Porsche has officially showcased the all-electric Cayenne SUV in India following its earlier price reveal. Serving as Porsche’s flagship electric SUV globally and its third EV model offered in India, the vehicle comes in two all-wheel-drive variants: the base Cayenne Electric, priced at ₹1.77 crore, and the Cayenne Turbo Electric, priced at ₹2.28 crore (ex-showroom, before options).
Built on the Volkswagen Group’s 800V Premium Platform Electric architecture, both variants utilize a 113 kWh battery pack and dual electric motors. The standard variant generates 408 hp and 750 Nm of torque (increasing to 442 hp and 835 Nm with Launch Control), achieving 0–100 km/h in 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 230 km/h. The Turbo variant delivers 857 hp and 1,360 Nm (increasing to 1,156 hp and 1,500 Nm with Launch Control), accelerating from 0–100 km/h in 2.5 seconds with a top speed of 260 km/h. The official WLTP driving range is rated at 642 km for the standard model and 623 km for the Turbo. The 800V system allows DC fast charging up to 390 kW, enabling a 10–80 percent charge in 16 minutes, while a full AC charge at 22 kW takes 5.75 hours.
In terms of dimensions, the Cayenne Electric measures 4,985 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,674 mm in height, featuring a 3,023 mm wheelbase that is 55 mm longer than the internal combustion engine model. Key exterior features include Matrix LED headlights, a rear light bar with an illuminated badge, standard 20-inch alloy wheels, soft-close doors, and a 90-litre front trunk. Inside, the cabin features a 14.5-inch curved OLED central touchscreen, a 14.25-inch driver display, a 781-litre boot, four-zone climate control, heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, 30-color ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera system, and advanced driver assistance systems.
