Bookings for the Mercedes-Benz GLC Electric have opened in India ahead of its scheduled launch on November 4, 2026. The electric SUV will be offered in the 400 4Matic variant and will be assembled locally at the company’s facility in Chakan, Pune. It is expected to be priced between ₹80 lakh and ₹90 lakh (ex-showroom).
The vehicle is equipped with a 94 kWh battery paired with a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive system generating 490 hp and 800 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in a claimed 4.3 seconds and offers an estimated range of up to 715 km under the WLTP cycle. Additionally, the SUV supports 330 kW DC fast charging, air suspension, and 4.5-degree rear-axle steering as standard features on the international-spec model.
In terms of design, the exterior includes an illuminated front grille, star-shaped LED daytime running lights, flush door handles, and connected LED tail lamps. Inside, the five-seater vehicle features a 39.1-inch MBUX Hyperscreen integrating the driver display, infotainment touchscreen, and passenger display, alongside physical controls on the steering wheel and center console.
