BMW X3 xDrive28i and X5 xDrive35i Petrol come at a time when diesel demands are fluctuating and petrol buyers are set to increase soon

After Mercedes it is BMW that is making sure it doesn’t let go its customers demanding for any kind of fuel options that they require. With diesel demands soon to shrink in the future and hybrids and petrols could do similar numbers along with diesel counterparts existing it is obvious to get petrol motor in luxury cars category. BMW also plonks petrol engines in its SUV just like Mercedes did a few weeks ago. The CBU SUV’s come with attarctive pricing on offer.

The BMW EfficientDynamics family of engines have tuned to offer considerably more power and better responsiveness even at low engine speeds, thanks to BMW TwinPower Turbo Technology. The two-litre four cylinder petrol engine of the new BMW X3 xDrive28i produces an output of 245 BHP and torque of 350 Nm at 1250 – 4800 RPM. The SUV accelerates from 0 -100 km/hr in just 6.5 seconds. The three-litre inline-six cylinder petrol motor on the BMW X5 xDrive35i produces an output of 306 BHP and a torque of 400 Nm at 1200 – 5000 RPM. The SUV can accelerate from 0 -100 km/hr in just 6.5 seconds too.

BMW continues to offers features that it offers in diesel models. For example, the petrol models come with BMW Navigation system Professional with 3D maps (integrated Global Positioning System-GPS). The iDrive Touch with handwriting recognition (including a 26 cm high-definition colour display), high-end Surround Sound system from Harman Kardon, rear-view camera and touch screen are available in BMW X5 xDrive35i Design Pure Experience.

The new BMW X3 xDrive28i xLine comes with iDrive Touch controller with 22.3 cms high-definition colour display, hi-fi loudspeaker system and a rear View camera to name a few. The new BMW X3 xDrive28i has been introduced in an exclusive ‘xLine’ design scheme. The new BMW X5 xDrive35i, meanwhile is available in ‘Design Pure Experience’ package underlines the distinct look it has. BMW X3 xDrive28i and X5 xDrive35i Petrol are below.
