Droom Expands Vehicles Categories By 5 – Includes Carts & Agriculture Equipment

In an effort to provide access to all types of mobility, Droom, India’s pioneering automobile e-commerce platform, has announced the expansion of its existing portfolio and added 5 more vehicle categories, taking the total number of categories from 10 to 15. The newly launched categories are : Wheelchair, EV Golf Cart, Construction, Mining, and Agriculture Equipment.

Being the pioneer in the online automobile e-commerce platform, Droom has been offering a wide range of automobile categories from bicycles to planes on its platform. The first company in its domain to introduce such a category, especially for senior cities and differently able, this initiative underlines Droom’s vision of providing mobility solutions for all.

The newly introduced wheelchair category will include vehicles that are wheelchair friendly. This category includes both manual and EVs, with 19 different SKUs. The price for these vehicles ranges from INR 5K to INR 4 lakh. Under EV Golf Cart, the brand will offer two, four, and six-seater vehicles with 7 different SKUs. The price ranges from INR 2 lakh to INR 4 lakh.

The new addition also includes all models of excavators and backhoe loaders coupled with 86 different SKUs. Some of the in-demand models are 2DX, 3DX, 4DX, 305LC, JS205LC, JS140, JS120, and JS81. The price range is INR 23 lakh – INR 1 crore. The sellers of the aforementioned vehicles are available across India, making the servicing process more accessible and seamless for buyers.

Speaking on the launch, Sandeep Aggarwal, Founder & CEO, droom said, “We have built a 21st-century mobility platform online with the entire ecosystem for the digital economy. Our vision has always been to sell bicycle to plans and any vehicle in between. We are super excited to offer end to end ecommerce experience for 5 more new categories. Through this initiative, we are offering customers an all-in-one platform that can cater to their diverse vehicle needs while enjoying an impeccable buying experience. Going forward, we plan to add newer such categories to our portfolio and make droom work like a super app.”

The buying procedure is hassle-free and involves a few easy steps. After choosing a vehicle, the buyer needs to verify himself, pay the token amount, and ask for customization, if any. Once this is done, he can pay the remaining amount and get the product delivered to their doorstep. He can then rate and review the seller online.
