One among the top Indian automobile company, Tata Motors have unleashed their latest thought of a fully electric concept belonging to its Tiago hatchback at the LCV 2017, which is an exhibition for low carbon emission vehicles which took place at Millbrook, UK. The Tiago EV has been engineered by the UK-based Tata Motors European Technical Centre, abbreviated as TMETC.
Electric Tata Tiago comprises of a 114 HP which is around 85 kW when expressed in SI units. The liquid-cooled electric drive motor is capable of generating a nominal value of 200 Nm of torque. Indicating the scale at 1040 kilograms (kerb), the hatchback is around 20 kilograms lighter than the heaviest variant of the Tiago that is being sold out in the desi market. Tiago EV boasts a top speed of 135 km per hour for this completely electric hatchback and the speed range of 0-100 km per hour enters the picture within 11 seconds.
