Fiat Reduces Price in 2017 Rather Increasing, Makes Deals Even More Tempting as taxes and other government charges will be lower too

FCA India has just raised the value proposition of the Fiat Linea and Fiat Punto EVO range of cars by reducing prices up to 7.3% on the former and close to 7% on the latter. The new prices will be applicable with immediate effect on the current model year of the Linea and Punto EVO. This move brings the Linea range under the Rs. 10 lakhs (ex-showroom) and hence the taxes on the car are far lesser than before make it a sweet deal in the C-Segment sedan space.

2017 is a significant year for FCA as they chalk out a new phase for growth with both their brands – Fiat and Jeep. Fiat wants to make sure enhancing the value proposition on our feature-rich Linea and Punto EVO, as the first step. Previously we have seen many service camps with discounts for existing customers to make sure they reap benefits as well.

FCA has revisited its pricing strategy on Fiat products to make them more attainable than before. The prices of the Urban Cross stay unchanged for the year 2017. The Avventura prices are already realigned in 2016 already and 2017 also seems some benefits. Abarth variant has also seem some discounts which is now a very big plus point. Fiat moves make sure customers will now spend less on registration, insurance premium outflow etc, which decreases the initial cost of ownership.

This enhances the value of the Linea and Punto EVO product package as both these cars offer good driving dynamics, proven engines and solid built inside out to make sure the cars do well in our conditions. Fiat has done a great job by doing so. We will have to see how the upcoming sales report and hope Fiat can do well before the brand new products that are set to come in the coming years which will help the Fiat brand grow. All in all, Fiat Reduces Price in 2017, is one deal you cannot ignore right now.
