Honda has today showcased the additions to its rich and varied two-wheeled line-up for 2027 at the EICMA show in Milan, Italy, headlined by major evolutions – including additional new variants – for both the flagship Africa Twin and Fireblade families, the brand new ADV125 adventure scooter, and planned production model of its ground-breaking V3R 900 E-Compressor.
With further highlights including the upgraded SH350i, plus the public debut of the new CBR500R FOUR, upgraded CBR600RR and CMX500 Rebel now equipped with Honda E-Clutch, the brand is underlining its commitment to meet the needs of all riders with the widest, deepest and most diverse range of models and technology in the motorcycle industry.
27YM Honda CRF1150L Africa Twin Enduro Sports
For 2027, Honda unveils a comprehensively renewed Africa Twin family, with three distinct models designed to serve an even broader range of adventure riders. Alongside the evolution of the iconic CRF1100L Africa Twin itself and the Africa Twin Adventure Sports, the range welcomes the new Africa Twin Enduro Sports, the most off-road focussed Africa Twin yet.
The upgrades respond clearly to feedback from thousands of Africa Twin riders. Performance for all three is boosted by the significantly updated 1,131cc parallel twin engine with 16% more peak power, nearly 7% more torque and improved mid-range. A new frame, lighter swingarm, revised riding position, lower centre of gravity and standard fit Showa Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment (Showa EERA™) make the Africa Twin even more precise, responsive and confidence-inspiring. Usability and convenience have been enhanced with wireless smartphone connectivity, a SMART Key system, and a new 7-inch touchscreen that is operated through a compact and intuitive new switch layout.
The Adventure Sports version introduces Honda SENSING RIDE – a radar-operated suite of safety-enhancing rider assist features. Featuring no fewer than then ten different functions, the system works seamlessly with Honda’s unique Dual Clutch Transmission, and is accompanied by further electronic upgrades such as Vehicle Hold Control and Electronically Controlled Combined ABS.
The new CRF1150L Africa Twin Enduro Sports sets a new standard for off-road focus and performance, with compact rally-inspired bodywork, high front fender, bespoke riding position, reprofiled seat, increased ground clearance, longer suspension travel and dedicated off-road riding modes giving riders all the tools they need to handle changing surfaces and conditions.
27YM Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade
For 2027, Honda introduces the most advanced Fireblade family ever, with three models developed through stronger-than-ever collaboration with Honda Racing Corporation to further push the Fireblade’s famed combination of outright performance and sure-footed handling.
The 27YM Fireblade is even more confidence-inspiring, with chassis development focused on increasing corner entry stability and front end feel thanks to a new frame, new swing arm, more efficient aerodynamics, revised geometry and new rider triangle. Weight has been reduced thanks to savings across the model, including new wheels and new titanium fuel tank.
Performance improvements have also been targeted with a thorough-going engine upgrade to create stronger mid-range due to changes including new piston crowns, valve train and the addition of new 2-stage Variable Air Funnels.
Sitting alongside the new CBR1000RR-R Fireblade, and sharing its sleek new design lines, is the premium Fireblade SP, featuring all the upgrades of the standard model plus the latest iteration of the Öhlins Smart Electronic Control suspension with Objective Based Tuning Interface (OBTi) and new Brembo Hypure brakes.
Finally, the new Fireblade HRC Works Edition joins the roster, with even greater track focus thanks to the single seat, carbon fibre reinforced parts and bespoke winglets for increased downforce, making it the most race-ready Fireblade ever. Honda is also using EICMA as the platform to reveal the planned production version of its revolutionary V3R900 E-Compressor naked machine.
The model displayed shows the final design lines of this unique project, with all the muscularity and distinctive asymmetrical layout of the Prototype shown at EICMA in 2025. Lightweight, compact and purposeful, the final model will feature a titanium fuel tank, exhaust pipes and muffler and the latest evolution of Honda RoadSync, featuring an enhanced human machine interface for more intuitive operation and new AI-assisted functionality. These new connected features are also planned to be progressively introduced to other compatible Honda models.1
Following in the lineage of innovations such as the original CB750, the Gold Wing, the RC30, the NR, the Fireblade and the Africa Twin, the V3R900 E-Compressor uses a unique electronically-controlled compressor to deliver instant torque from low rpm range by controlling compression of the intake air irrespective of engine rpm. This allows a 900cc engine to achieve performance comparable to that of a 1200cc engine. Development is proceeding at speed, with further updates to come regarding mass production timings.
27YM Honda ADV125
Building on the success of Honda’s pioneering ADV family, the new ADV125 brings rugged SUV-inspired styling, premium specification and everyday versatility to a broader range of riders. It distils the distinctive character and adventurous spirit of the X-ADV and ADV350 into a practical, A1 licence-friendly package perfectly suited to modern urban mobility.
Designed for riders who want more from their daily commute, the ADV125 packs an elevated riding position, long-travel suspension, generous ground clearance and block-pattern tyres to deliver confidence across a wide variety of road surfaces, while a refined 125cc eSP+ engine provides responsive performance and outstanding fuel efficiency.
The ADV125 benefits from a significant technology package, including a full-colour 5-inch TFT display with Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity, alongside USB-C charging, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), SMART Key operation and practical integrated storage. Combining distinctive style, advanced features and everyday usability, the ADV125 is a unique proposition in the 125cc class, allowing riders to look beyond the ordinary and embrace every journey as an adventure. Also on public display for the first time at EICMA are four models that underline Honda’s commitment to both technological innovation and providing all riders with a model for their needs. The CBR500R FOUR brings Honda’s four-cylinder heritage to a new engine configuration, and features the fun and flexible Honda E-Clutch system. Together with the CMX500 Rebel which is also on display at EICMA, this brings the number of European models to feature Honda E-Clutch to nine*2.
Visitors to EICMA will also be able to see the CBR600RR with upgraded braking performance, larger TFT display and reprofiled front end, whereas the head of the million-selling SH family, the SH350i now features a full-colour 4.2-inch TFT display with Honda RoadSync connectivity, and a range of new colours.
The award-winning EV OUTLIER Concept will be exhibited in Europe for the first time at EICMA 2026, offering a vision of how motorcycles might look from 2030 and beyond. Benefitting from the high degree of freedom afforded by electric vehicles, in-wheel motors are used in both the front and rear to achieve a dynamic and low-proportioned style. It also packs the latest technologies, as camera-based mirrors are integrated along with a slim, wide instrument cluster for a clean look and expansive view. From the rider’s perspective, the Graphical User Interface (GUI) displays lean angles and real-time motor output, deepening the rider’s connection with the machine. The result is a motorcycle that looks, and feels, like nothing before it
Also on debut at EICMA is the all-new RN0, a model that sees the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer enter the European electric mountain bike market for the first time. Drawing on decades of experience developing class-leading motorcycles and the pioneering spirit that has defined Honda since its founding, the RN0 represents a new step for Honda’s two-wheeled mobility portfolio.
Developed in collaboration with premium e-MTB specialist ROTWILD and drivetrain leader Shimano, the RN0 combines cutting-edge mountain bike technology with design lessons inspired by Honda’s motorcycle heritage. At its heart is a distinctive carbon-fibre monocoque frame and signature Gullwing swingarm, with a balance of flexibility and rigidity engineered to deliver the exceptional feedback and confidence-inspiring handling for which Honda’s motorcycles are renowned.
Powered by a Shimano drive unit, producing 100Nm of torque and up to 750W of peak power, the RN0 demonstrates Honda’s commitment to entering the segment with a premium product grounded in its motorcycle heritage. More than simply a new model, the RN0 signals Honda’s ambition to address the changing needs in personal mobility, recreation and urban logistics across society.
