Steadfast in its commitment to customer confidence and the seamless adoption of EV mobility, Kia India, one of the country’s leading mass-premium automakers, has introduced a Lifetime High Voltage Battery Warranty* for the Carens Clavis EV. Effective from 1 August 2026, the warranty provides 15 years of unlimited kilometre coverage for the first owner of new Carens Clavis EVs retailed from this date onwards. In addition, the eligible existing Carens Clavis EV customers who purchased their vehicles before 1 August 2026 will have the option to extend their existing 8-year/1,60,000 km HV Battery Warranty to 15 years with unlimited kilometres.
The High Voltage battery is among the most critical components of an electric vehicle, making long-term battery health and replacement costs key considerations for customers evaluating the switch to EVs. The Lifetime High Voltage Battery Warranty* addresses these concerns by providing unlimited kilometre coverage for 15 years for the first owner.

For customers, this translates into a simpler and more confident ownership experience, and greater assurance as the vehicle ages. For eligible existing customers, the extension also strengthens the value of their ownership experience.
The Lifetime High Voltage Battery Warranty* adds to the ownership advantages already available on the Carens Clavis EV, including Kia India’s Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) programme, which enables customers to reduce the upfront cost of EV ownership through separate financing of the vehicle and battery. Together, these offerings make the Carens Clavis EV a compelling option for customers considering the switch to electric mobility.
Beyond the vehicle and its ownership offerings, Kia India also backs Carens Clavis EV customers with K-Charge, its EV charging ecosystem accessible through the MyKia app and the Kia India website. K-Charge brings together over 20,300 charging points from the country’s top 23 Charge Point Operators onto a single platform, letting customers find, navigate, and pay for charging through one unified wallet. This is supported by a growing network of 129+ Kia dealerships equipped with high-capacity DC fast chargers and 275+ EV-ready workshops, part of Kia India’s wider service network of 900+ customer touchpoints across 400 cities.

– Lifetime High Voltage Battery Warranty: 15 years with unlimited kilometres for the first owner (not for commercial vehicles e.g. Taxi / Fleet etc.). For the second owner & Commercial vehicles – High Voltage Battery warranty is 8 years or 1,60,000 km, whichever comes earlier.
– Eligibility is subjected to terms & conditions of HV Battery Warranty Extension program & can be checked by customers with their respective dealers.
– This is an optional extension & can be availed by the eligible customers by paying a nominal administrative fee of INR 3400/- (inclusive of all taxes) to the kia dealers, subject to the T&C and vehicle evaluation.
