We were already aware of the KTM’s plan to launch 790 Duke in India next month. It is the bike that has been eagerly awaited along with the 390 Adventure that is going to make its debut here in 2020. In fact, the bigger KTM 790 Adventure has been revealed at India Bike Week. Still, KTM will launch 790 Adventure in India next year although the top-spec variant of the bike, 790 Adventure Rally will not come to our shores. KTM Duke 790 Adventure India Launch could be limited to just one variant also. Just so you know, globally 790 Adventure is available in three different variants – standard, Adventure R, and R Rally.
It will be a giant leap for KTM as it has restricted its Indian model range below 400 cc. Both 790 Duke and 790 Adventure could be assembled locally in order to keep them price competitive. We are expecting 790 Adventure to come at a sub-Rs. 11 lakh price. The 790 Adventure will be powered by a 799 cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine which is capable of putting out 94 bhp and 88 Nm of max power and max torque respectively. The bike is underpinned by Trellis frame and features minimum bodywork which is quite opposite to other adventure bikes.

Standard variant of the bike has 200 mm of front and rear suspension travel while in case of the R version, suspension travel is 240 mm on both front and rear.
Similarly, the wheelbase of the R version is 263 mm which is 30 mm more than what standard variant features.
