2017 Mahindra KUV 100 CNG Variant Launched – Called As KUV 100 Trip

Mahindra KUV 100 CNG Variant Could Help Boost Sales as fuel prices are rising constantly

The KUV 100 hasn’t been able to turn the segment on fire like how its maker would have wanted. Interestingly, the initial response to the car was pretty good though, with over 21,000 bookings in just a month’s time after its launch. However, the car is still fresh and it is still an attractive proposition for someone who wants a small hatchback and yet loves the ruggedness of an SUV. Now, it seems Mahindra isn’t letting the little cars flame extinguish and is preparing a CNG variant of the same. 2017 Mahindra KUV 100 CNG is finally here and we have details.

The CNG kit on the KUV100 will arrive with the 1.2-liter G80 mFalcon petrol unit that is already on offer on the car. This engine in its petrol only tune makes a pretty decent 83Ps and 115Nm of torque. The transmission on offer for the same is a 5-Speed manual with an FWD mechanism. Expect this new variant to add to the KUV100’s staggering collection of 24 variants for petrol and diesel offered engines combined. The 1.2-liter turbocharged mFalcon D75 diesel engine makes 78Ps and 190Nm of peak torque and is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
