Maruti Ignis Alpha AMT Launched In Both Petrol and Diesel Variants as the company continues to offer truly premium offering to its customers

Maruti Suzuki India, country’s leading auto brand is now offering the sporty compact hatch Ignis AMT in the top spec Alpha trim. Earlier the Ignis AMT was available only in two trims Delta and the Zeta. The recently launched petrol AMT is priced at INR. 7.01 lakh while the diesel gets a price tag of INR. 8.08 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).

As the demand for two pedal technology seems to be evolving in the country these days, Maruti Suzuki is not taking any chances of staying back off it but is exploring and expanding its Auto Gear Shift (AGS) technology for its upcoming portfolio.

After introducing the AGS technology in the recently launched Maruti Dzire, the company has brought same technology in its premium urban hatchback the Ignis. Automatic Gear Shift (AGS) on the Ignis, so far offered in the Delta and Zeta trims, has been widely appreciated by the customers and account for 27% of Ignis sales. The company is now offering the AGS in the top Alpha trim.

The main aim of the company is to strengthen the Ignis brand and enhance the popularity of AGS amongst thousands. Maruti Suzuki has always launched their automatic cars only in the low and mid-spec trims but foreseeing the huge demand for AGS technology, the company has started offering their top spec trims with this mechanics.
