Mahindra XUV700 Prices Hiked By Up To Rs. 81,000 For 2022
Mahindra & Mahindra hit it right out of the park with the new XUV700 and the model arrived at a highly competitive price point. But as everyone in the industry says these days, the “rising input costs” are hard to beat and that has seen an effect on the Mahindra flagship as well. So, the Mahindra XUV700 has received a price hike for 2022 and prices are now up by Rs. 81,000, depending on the variant of your choice. Do remember, the introductory prices were limited for the first 25,000 bookings only, which the company received in a record period of barely an hour or two. The next 25,000 were registered the next day itself.
So, the 2022 Mahindra XUV700 now starts at 12.96 lakh for the entry-level MX variant, which has seen a price hike of Rs. 47,000. That’s still fairly competitive as it overlaps with the XUV300 and the Marazzo within the Mahindra family along with a host of other midsize SUVs. Prices see the maximum hike on the automatic variants with the top-spec AX7 AT Luxury petrol now priced at Rs. 22.04 lakh, up by Rs. 75,000. Meanwhile, the AX7 L AT AWD diesel is priced at Rs. 23.80 lakh, up by Rs. 81,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Mahindra has not announced price protection for its more recent customers, so you will have to consider shelling out extra at the time of delivery over a period of the next few weeks. Considering the waiting period on the car, the wait can be a long one. Nevertheless, the XUV700 manages to impress in many ways and is truly a world-class product from the automaker.
The Mahindra XUV700 comes with features such as the 10.25-inch dual-screens, Alexa-enabled connected car tech, wireless phone charger, pop-out door handles, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), sunroof, and so much more. The XUV700 draws power from the are 204PS 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with the 6-speed manual and automatic transmission. There’s also the 2.2-litre diesel offered in two states of tune – 155PS and 185PS. It also comes with a 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions. The top-spec diesel gets all wheel drive as an option.
