Tata Hexa Production Version seems to have a brand new grille, DRL, headlights and seen here are base mid and top variants

Tata is all set to take the market by storm in every possible category with the range of new products made on the same platforms. The good news is the platforms are heavily revised and hugely improved with the help of their sibling counterpart, Jaguar and Land Rover. Land Rover has a history with great SUV and Tata has had great emotional connect with consumers when it comes to their SUV. One of the cars that Tata made was the Aria, which was in great in every aspect but the price let it down dramatically.

In comes the new HEXA, which is the prototype code-named of the car. Hexa has been spotted testing several times in the past. However, we have shots, which pretty much confirm that this new car, the white color, standing in between has a new fascia along with new DRL spotted for the first time. Projector headlights seem visible on all three cars, which could be a standard feature on all variants. The grille seems very well-integrated into the car and comes out clean. Large bumper below makes thing substantial and more of MPV. Clam shell bonnet adds to the lineage of the premium MPV.

Other details as we are aware of are the engines and chassis details. The chassis is heavily revised over the previous Aria and is going to be lighter, stiffer and stronger than before. Based on the Safari Storme, expect a little amount of weight on the Tata Hexa production version as it will be longer and wider.

Engine wise we are expecting the same 2.2 litre engine that makes 160 BHP and 400 Nm of torque. The power and torque will go to all four wheels and RWD via a new 6-speed gearbox and 6-speed automatic. Launch is set to happen in the next few months and we expect great pricing, which will make it a great value for money proposition.
