TVS iQube Electric Scooter Recalled For Chassis Issue

TVS has issued a recall for the iQube electric scooter to conduct a “critical inspection” of the chassis. According to the company, iQube e-scooters manufactured between July 10, 2023 and September 9, 2023 are being recalled.

The chassis is being checked so that it does not affect the progress and control for other users. Some users have gone through this issue already. This is being done after there are reports on social media of iQube chassis breaking from a certain point.

In other news, TVS launched the 2024 model of the iQube electric motorcycle last month. There are two versions and the basic version with a 2.2 kWh battery has a range of 75 km. The iQube ST comes with two battery options – 3.4 kWh and 5.1 kWh, with a range of 100 km and 150 km respectively.
