Tiago is known for its sophisticated design which is simple and yet shouts loud of what it can do. Tata’s design team continues to get endless credit for this ‘masterpiece’ and it deserves it. The almond like tail-lights and similar look tail-lamps also continue to impress. The shorty, stubby look and yet the substantial road presence it has unmatched in the category. The humanity line, the honey comb grille and C-pillar kink finish suits the Tiago really well.

2017 Tata Tiago AMT Interior and Features
High quality Tata interiors are offered as before. Major changes could be a color option for the interior, but that hasn’t happened. Gear knob will be now an automatic unit. Feature list includes electric ORVM’s, best in class infotainment system with good music system offered. Steering mounted audio and telephony controls, A/C, power steering, turn by turn navigation and much more will be part of the list, which also includes connectivity options such as USB, AUX and Bluetooth.

Priced at INR 5.73 lakhs, ex-showroom Mumbai and INR 5.39 lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi, the TIAGO AMT will be available in the XZA variant with the 1.2L 3 cylinder Revotron petrol engine.
2017 Tata Tiago AMT Engine And Specification
The engines continue to be the same. 1.2 petrol unit which is an naturally aspirated motor that makes 84 BHP of power. The torque numbers stay the same. Expect segment fuel-efficiency numbers as before which will be very close to the manual. Petrol should be around 20 km/l. Tata hasn’t quoted any numbers yet.
The Tiago Easy Shift AMT comes equipped with four gear positions on offer such as Automatic, Neutral, Reverse and Manual. In addition, it boasts of 2 drive modes– Sports & City as well, which is in first-in-class segment feature. The Manual mode helps shift gears at the drivers disposal.
Tiago Easy Shift AMT comes with an in-built ‘creep’ feature, which enables the car to crawl as soon as the pressure is eased off the brake pedal, without pressing the accelerator. This function also prevents the car from rolling back when it starts from an inclined position.
