Hero MotoCorp launched the 2024 Xtreme 160R 2V in India. The motorcycle is based on the TVS Apache RTR 160 2V but Hero has worked to add more features while reducing the price of the bike. Here are the five most important ones.

The design of the Hero Xtreme 160 2V is similar to the previous bike, except for the new H-shaped tail light. Hero has chosen a dark theme suitable for the bike. This new color called Stealth Black gives the bike more of a look. Hero has added some red accents in certain areas of the bike to add variety and it’s done very smartly. Overall the bike looks good and is one of the best designs from Hero MotoCorp so far.

The bike is powered by a 163.2cc single-cylinder engine that produces 14.79bhp and 14Nm. It is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. This engine is known for its mid-range performance, although its fuel efficiency is at competitive levels.
Hero has many features on its bikes. It has headlights, a digital display and a new drag racing clock. These features are what one would expect from a bike in this category, and the drag racing season is the first step in this category.

The Hero Xtreme 160R rides on a steel frame and is suspended via a telescopic fork with a single shock absorber. This motorcycle uses 17-inch alloy wheels, and braking is handled by front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. Hero has priced the 2024 Xtreme 160R 2V at Rs 1.11 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. Despite the new features, it costs 10,000 less than the 2023 model.
