Chennai-based startup Raptee.HV has officially entered the electric vehicle market with the launch of its debut motorcycle earlier in late 2025 with the T30, priced at Rs 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom). Offered in two variants—the T30 and the T30 Sport—the bike is positioned to compete with 250-300cc internal combustion engine motorcycles and established electric rivals like the Tork Kratos and Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2. Customers can currently pre-book the motorcycle for a nominal fee of Rs 1,000, with initial deliveries scheduled to begin in January 2025 across Chennai and Bangalore.
The T30 is powered by a 22 kW electric motor that generates 70 Nm of peak torque, allowing the bike to accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 135 kmph. Its 5.4 kWh battery pack is IP67-rated for durability and provides a claimed real-world range of 150 km, while the IDC range stands at 200 km. Riders can choose between three distinct modes—Comfort, Power, and Sprint—to tailor the performance to their needs.
A standout feature of the Raptee.HV T30 is its compatibility with CCS2 charging standards, typically used by electric cars. This allows the motorcycle to be charged at over 13,500 existing car charging stations across India, providing significant convenience for long-distance travel. The bike’s chassis includes premium hardware such as USD front forks, an adjustable rear monoshock, and a braking system featuring a 320 mm front disc and a 230 mm rear disc, complemented by various levels of regenerative braking.
Visually, the motorcycle features a modern aesthetic with sharp body lines, a diamond-shaped headlamp, and a split-seat design. The cockpit is centered around a 7-inch touchscreen display that integrates Bluetooth connectivity, GPS navigation, and over-the-air (OTA) update capabilities. The T30 is available in four color options: Arctic White, Eclipse Black, Mercury Grey, and Horizon Red.
