All New Honda N7X is revealed to the world as what looks like an almost ready production-ready prototype, which is again a Honda tradition. All New Honda N7X is set to replace the defunct in India and aging BR-V in other markets. The All-New Honda N7X seems based on the HR-V but longer and wider and as the number in the name suggests this is going to be a 7-seater. The Honda HR-V has also been a Hyundai Creta rival and the elongated version will be now a Hyundai Alcazar rival. This product is pretty much India-ready as it seems the perfect fit and size for the Indian market.
The timing is also spot on this time. Launching a 7-seater first and follow it by a 5-seater seems like the perfect entry into this segment without being late. Honda is also a premium manufacturer. however, the right price and engines, especially diesel automatic, could help it gain a significant market share. Of course, the 1.5 petrol and diesel engines will be used here. For the Indonesian market, it will only get the petrol with manual and CVT automatic.
The design looks very good with a boxy SUV stance and not a typical MPV look Honda had earlier with Mobilio and BR-V. The front grille is very chunky and strong adding to the SUV appeal. The CR-V-inspired tail lamps can be seen here and they should be just right for the production version as well. Inside is not available to see right now with this recently revealed SUV but we expect it to have a similar interior to the current Honda City sold in India or could be a whole new interior inspired by the Honda CR-V. If Honda India is a particularly good mood, they could localize this as well and get a nice price to target its rivals well which will follow post its launch along with existing rival from Hyundai.
