Benelli and Adishwar Auto Ride India – Mahavir Group, today begins it’s ‘National Safety’ awareness in an effort to promote the importance of safe driving habits through a range of activities.
Starting from the company’s manufacturing plant based out of Hyderabad, the awareness campaign ‘Safe Roaring’ was inaugurated by S. Ramesh, Inspector Of Police, Petbhasheerabad Police Station, by planting a tree at Benelli’s manufacturing plant on 4th March 2021. As a part of Benelli India’s ongoing green initiative, 150 more trees were planted by the company staff on the same day.
S. Ramesh, Inspector of Police said, ”It is a pleasure to see Adishwar Auto Ride India from Hyderabad, take an initiative towards spreading awareness on Safety and the importance of following traffic rules. I request everyone to continue to abide by the rules and regulations set by the government towards road safety as these are formed to ensure that every journey is a safe and memorable one for you.”
The activities related to National Safety are majorly targeted towards the general public covering all age groups, employees and customers. The activities are conducted by following all the safety norms required for the prevention of COVID-19.
These activities include training on safer driving habits and responsible road behaviour. The safety awareness activation is in line with the theme of National Safety Month 2021 and Benelli India will be conducting campaign throughout the month of March 2021, in Telangana.
During the CSR activity, the company handed over Helmets to its employees and the General Public as well, training them on Safe Riding Habits and educating them on the use of Safety Gears (Helmet, Gloves, Riding Jacket, Riding pants and Shoes) while riding a two wheeler. The company also educated car drivers on the importance of using seat belts, night driving with low beam, following traffic rules, etc.
Vikas Jhabakh, Managing Director, Benelli India said, “While we do offer high powered and exciting products, we equally emphasize on the importance of safety and promote the same during every test ride and at the time of every product delivery as well. The company also offers a range of accessories to ensure that every customer leaves a Benelli showroom with essential safety gear, before riding or owning a Benelli.”
He further added, “We truly appreciate the initiative taken by the Government to promote safety. Hence, we have announced the ‘Safe Roaring’ Campaign to promote the same as a part of our CSR activity, to further spread the awareness of safe riding and the importance of traffic rules and regulations set by the government for a hassle-free commute.”
