We, like many others, are massive fans of the Speedo Block Livery That Yamaha offers, YZF-R3 Speed Block Edition has to come to India!!
The moment that we have been all waiting for is here. The Speed Block Edition is always known as the most iconic livery of all times that Yamaha chooses to slap on its motorcycles. After putting it on various international and high capacity models which includes the R1 to the MT series of motorcycles, it is time that the middle weight of new age, the R3 gets it. Yamaha has finally done it and the motorcycle look drop dead gorgeous in that scheme. The yellow and black scheme along with the block printed on the side fairing panels along with an Akrapovic exhaust in another picture showcases how good these motorcycles look.
The motorcycle seems extremely well finished. The livery looks spot on but it could be an dealership work as well. Something all dealers throughout the world do to make sure models fly of the shelves. The fonts don’t look 100% as the one seen on motorcycles that come from the factory, there are subtle difference in the way the block they are printed. Nevertheless, the entire package does looking appealing.
The overall styling of the Yamaha YZF-R3 has grown over as time has passed by. The front headlight are seriously aggressive, the tail-piece is very sporty and the usual Yamaha bits which includes a racing inspired tank design all make it look just right. Akrapovic exhaust should make it sound even more interesting as the stock motor is already quite loud, aggressive and bassy. The engine specs are mostly like the same as before. 321cc, 42 PS of power, 29 Nm of torque helps it get a top speed of 180 km/hr and does 0-100 km/hr under 6 seconds. KTM RC390 and Ninja 300 are its prime rivals worldwide. We expect this variant to come to India in 2017.
