The Honda CB300F arrived last year and let’s just say it has barely managed to scrape the surface as far as expectations are concerned. The motorcycle arrived as the brand’s entry model to the premium BigWing showrooms but lacks the excitement that some of the other products offer. To push stocks out of showrooms, certain Honda dealerships are offering the CB300F for a whopping discount of Rs. 84,000 for the dealer partner employees.
This effectively makes the CB300F’s price at a more delectable Rs. 1.65 lakh. The offer is valid till the stocks last and is also available with 100 per cent funding. This is substantially cheaper than the original asking price of Rs. 2.26 lakh on the motorcycle. However, this isn’t the first time Honda has given the CB300F a massive price cut to push stocks out. Back in December, the company introduced a flat Rs. 50,000 discount bringing the price down to Rs. 1.76 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom).
If you are a Honda dealer partner employee, the CB300F will certainly be a good bet for you right now. The new pricing certainly makes it more affordable than its rivals including the Suzuki Gixxer 250, Bajaj Dominar 250 and KTM 250 Duke. You will be left with enough money to invest in good riding gear as you absolutely should.
There are no mechanical changes though and the bike comes with the same 293cc single-cylinder motor tuned for 24.5PS and 26Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. There are two variants on offer – Deluxe and Deluxe Pro. Other hardware components include USD front forks and a monoshock at the rear. Braking power comes from a 276mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. The CB300F gets an LED headlamp, digital console with smartphone connectivity, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and more.
