Hyundai Eon Recalled in India Over Fouling Cables as always Hyundai will contact and do repairs free of cost
Hyundai Motor India Ltd has today initiated a service campaign to recall and inspect one of highest selling cars. The Eon is being recalled for the first time. The youngest car of the lot has been recalled over Clutch Cable Fouling with Battery Cable. The Eon cars produced in the month of January 2015 have been affected. As always, Hyundai will carry out the repairs at no cost to customer.
Hyundai Motor India is voluntarily recalling 7657 units of Eon cars in India. Eons manufactured between 1st January 2015 – 31st January 2015. A month of Eon produced have been affected. Eon customers of this particular and respective period will be notified in a phased manner. Eon owners will be called in for inspection of the clutch cable fouling with Battery Cable. The replacement of the Battery Cable if found damaged will be carried out. Hyundai encourages owners of all affected Eon cars to take their cars to an authorized Hyundai Dealers.
Hyundai has recalled cars in the past and it will make sure this goes out smoothly. The car repairs will be carried out free of cost. Car owners are set to take an appointment with their dealers and post that the inspection will be carried out at the dealership. The work in question should not take much long and should finish in couple of hours.

The Eon is priced between 3.27 lakhs to 4.42 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi. Eon continues to sell just about alright for the manufacturer.
