NX 300h India Launch Details finally includes the price which is an aggressive 53.15 lakhs, far below than expected
Lexus the brand very well known for its luxury vehicles is said to be working on bringing its entry-level crossover, the NX to India. By the chiselled body and angel- eyed glare we can tell the luxury car wants to be a sports car but don’t be fooled, because under the hood there is a softy. The NX facelift was revealed at Shanghai Motors this year. In our crossover crazed times, there is no shortage of choices among the compact SUV’s, including those with a luxury bent! The NX is both a cost-effective and a trendy path to Lexus ownership. This proves it to be a popular entry in the brand’s line up. Lexus offers two versions of the NX 200t and NX 200h (hybrid). India gets the NX300h variant for now.
Lexus NX 300h India specific model has a length of 182.3 inches, a width of 73.6 inches, a height of 64.8 inches. Apart from the facelift Lexus has tweaked the chassis and made some changes to the interiors. The NX has a ground clearance of 6.9 inches, the front and rear track width of the NX is 61.8 inches and has a wheelbase of 104.7 inches.
Lexus NX 300h India specific model has a passenger capacity of five with a front headroom of 38.2 inches, front shoulder room of 57.3 inches, a front hip room of 55.1 inches and a front leg room of 42.8 inches. Coming to the rear of the car we have a headroom of 38.1 inches, a shoulder room of 55.3 inches, a hip room of 53.9 inches and a leg room of 36.1 inches.
Lexus NX 300h India Features list includes Lexus first kick-sensor-activated power rear door, first-in-class power-folding and power-reclining rear seats take amenities to a whole new level. The incredible hi-fi Mark Levinson system with ClariFi technology features 14 speakers. The new Lexus NX features a 360° panoramic surround view monitor, which uses four high-definition cameras to simulate a top-down view of the vehicle.
This view spins to show surrounding vehicles, pedestrians, and obstacles and includes position projections to demonstrate the vehicle’s path at slow speed. A more expansive 10.3-inch split-screen multimedia display provides simultaneous access to audio and climate controls and various systems, including the next-generation navigation system that is coupled with a full-colour heads-up display. Safety features include 8 airbags, ABS + vehicle stability control, and an anti-theft system.
Not only this, there is a manual tilt/telescope steering column. Gauges include speedometer, odometer, oil pressure engine coolant temperature, tachometer oil temperature, trip meter and a trip computer. This car also comes with power rear windows, leather steering wheel, front and rear cup holders, proximity key for doors and a push start button and more.
Lexus NX 300h India specific SUV comes with a 2.5L 16V DOHC 4-cylinder engine and produces of 197 PS of power. It will deliver 18.3 km/l. It has Mc-Pherson strut suspension in the front and double wishbone at the back. The NX comes with front wheel drive, 550 CCA maintenance-free battery, a sport-tuned suspension and gas pressurized shock absorbers. The car has a BSIV compliant motor. The crossover will compete with the likes of Audi Q3 and Mercedes Benz GLA. The NX 300h Luxury will be available at INR 53.18 lakhs (ex-showroom), while the NX 300h F-Sport will be available starting at INR 55.58 lakhs (ex-showroom).
