Maserati Showcases Levante Ermenegildo Zegna Concept brings much needed Italian flare to the Geneva Motor Show

The Italian Luxury car maker, Maserati has had the best year in its history in terms of sales numbers in 2016. With a total of 42,100 stunning brand new Maserati’s distributed globally, the Italian brand is back on its track after years of lack luster volumes. To celebrate this occasion, Maserati brought its new GranTurismo and GranCabrio Sport Special Edition versions to further the run of the gorgeous GranTurismo before the all new car arrives. Maserati also showcased Levante Ermenegildo Zegna Concept at the ongoing 87th Geneva International Motor Show.

The new pecial editions of the GranTurismo and Gran Cabrio have been designed to celebrate the 60 years of the company’s first Grand Touring car, the 3500 GT. Only 400 unit of these two special edition Maserati’s will be made, meaning they will be collector items.  These new Maserati’s get an all new three-layer premium paint in Rosso Italiano shade, inspired by the 1957 F1 champion Fangio’s 250F. Clearly Maserati is giving a nod to its racing legacy. The stunning MC-design 20 inch alloy wheels also get a new Glossy Black finish matching perfectly with the Special Edition logo wheel centre caps.

Along with the special edition Maserati’s the company also showcased the stunning Levante Show Car. This new concept has an all new and still conceptual Ermenegildo Zegna 100% silk fabric in the cockpit. This is a new silk that has been specifically developed by Ermenegildo Zegna atelier for Maserati. Maserati called it “Chevron” beige silk and it is matched with premium beige leather for front and rear seats.
