India Kawasaki launches the MY26 Kawasaki Ninja 500, available in the Lime Green color. The motorcycle has a starting ex-showroom price of INR 5,76,000/-. Bookings are currently open at authorized Indian dealerships, and vehicle deliveries are scheduled to begin in mid-June 2026.
The vehicle is equipped with a 451cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, parallel-twin DOHC engine. It produces a maximum power output of 33.4 kW (45 PS) at 9,000 min-1 and a peak torque of 42.6 N-m at 6,000 min-1. The powertrain includes a 6-speed return transmission paired with an Assist & Slipper Clutch mechanism.
The motorcycle’s chassis utilizes a lightweight trellis frame. The suspension system features a front telescopic fork providing 120 mm of wheel travel, alongside a rear horizontal backlink swingarm offering 130 mm of wheel travel. Ergonomic design elements include an elevated handlebar, a slightly forward footpeg position, and a low seat height designed to accommodate various riders. Additional standard features comprise twin LED headlights, LED taillights, and a full LCD instrument panel that supports smartphone connectivity.
