Classic Legends is working on multiple projects that includes the revival of brands like Yezdi and BSA and its respective products. However, this doesn’t mean the company has forgotten about Jawa Motorcycles. The bikes have been receiving timely upgrades and deliveries are now on track than earlier. It now seems Classic Legends is working on the next all-new motorcycle from Jawa that could also be its new flagship. This motorcycle is expected to be a cruiser and was recently spotted testing as well.

While details are limited, the images show a camouflaged test mule of a cruiser motorcycle that sports the classic design theme. Round headlamp, teardrop fuel tank, low seat height, wide handlebar, centre-set footpegs, and the familiar engine, all hint towards the Jawa cruiser. There is a possibility that the bike could be based on the Jawa Perak and will sport an identically-long wheelbase. The test mule also gets broad fenders, circular rearview mirrors and body-length exhaust pipe.

Power is expected to come from the Perak’s 334 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine tuned for a little over 30PS and 32Nm of peak torque. The engine will continue to be paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Other mechanical parts will include telescopic front forks, dual shock absorbers at the rear, dual-channel ABS and more. An analogue instrument console is likely with a digital readout. It needs to be seen if Jawa introduces Bluetooth connectivity on the bikes to keep up with the competition.

The Jawa Cruiser is expected to arrive either by late 2022 or sometime in 2023. In the meantime, the company is gearing up to introduce the Yezdi on 13th January 2022. More details on these models are likely to be available then.
