RE Continental GT 650 is very much a classic motorcycle when it comes to looks and now has the go as well with a larger 650cc engine

Royal Enfield is taking the market seriously and how. After hibernation of years before the 535 GT, then came the Himalayan, which now has followed this, the C GT650. The 535 should remain the stable for some time as RE says that the single cylinder engines aren’t going anywhere because the market loves it. Royal Enfield also introduced the Interceptr 650 which is taken on the modern classic just like its rival from Kawasaki and Triumph in India.

The motorcycle looks stunning and especially with the color schemes on offer. Orange, Grey along with a black and red paint scheme, they all stand out and along with the flat seat, spoke wheels and minimalist tail-piece it truely is sight to behold. Royal Enfield would love the design and this should offer a comfortable riding position as well, which should make it a hit in its category.

RE Continental GT 650 Price and Launch

Expect a price tag of Rs. 2.5 lakhs on-road or ex-showroom, because there is some good amount of speculation right now. India launch should happen in late 2018.

RE Continental GT 650 Engine And Specification

The 650cc motor is a SOHC Air/oil cooled unit which is a 4-valve unit and makes 47 BHP of power and 53 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to an 6-speed gearbox. RE says that the motor meets all emission norms, comes with fuel-injection and will easily comply to future challenges when it comes fuel efficiency and power requirement and compliance of any sort.
