2017 KTM RC200 continues to be similar as before but get emissions friendly and offers cosmetic changes with minor tweaks to the engine
KTM is all set to take 2017 by storm. The manufacturer is making sure it has a slew of launches in the country to make sure affordable performance motorcycling in the country continues. The plans are big as after this we will see the Duke and finally the adventure motorcycles coming to India. However, their most popular model in the lineup just got a change for the year 2017 in every way. Let’s have a look at what the KTM RC 200 brings to the table for year 2017.
2017 KTM RC200 Design and Dimensions
Everything remains the same when it comes to features and panels as they have been unchanged. Dual projectors and LED at the front, orange scheme for wheels and chassis continue to be offered. However, the changes are made to the side panel which are now offered in white and orange scheme. The motorcycle does look good. The mirrors are now wider than before, a complain rectified.
2017 KTM RC200 Chassis, suspension and brakes
Chassis setup includes the same things as before. The race bred trellis frame, upside down forks and the larger front 320mm disc brakes has been seen on the motorcycle. ABS still does not make it to the motorcycle. There are adjustable levers on offer this time around.

2017 KTM RC200 Engine And Specification
The engine continues to be the same and doesn’t get the side exhaust either like the 390. The engine is just BSIV for now and offers the same 25 PS of power and 19 Nm of torque. The engine is the same 4-valve DOHC, liquid cooled unit which has a 6-speed gearbox mated to it. There is no slipper clutch offered here.
