Mahindra Scorpio Adventure Edition starts at 13.10 Lakhs and arrives just at the right time for Summer Holidays
Its summer time here and this means it is time that everyone is planning a visit to those awesome places high up in the mountains. Understanding this, Mahindra and Mahindra wants to join in with the fun and add some spice to your adventure for not just these summers but for many more to come. Case in point, the just launched 2017 Mahindra Scorpio Adventure Edition which can be understood the follow up of the Mahindra Scorpio Adventure that came out last year. Interestingly, Mahindra produced only 1000 units of previous adventure last year and it holds true here as well.
Even though it’s a special edition and comes at the right time of Indian ride/drive season at the mountains, Mahindra carried out the launch in silence. On the design front the new 2017 Mahindra Scorpio Adventure Edition gets minor cosmetic changes only. The SUV gets a new dual paint exterior with addition of plastic cladding; there are new decals for the exterior as well while the cars 17-inch alloys get a premium looking gunmetal shade to add to the adventure theme.
Going further the new 2017 Mahindra Scorpio Adventure Edition also get red brake calipers for that sporty appeal and good looking smoked tail lamps there are ORVM mounted turn indicators as well and so is the reverse camera to aid handling of tough terrains you might find yourself in as you head for the adventure trail. The interior gets faux leather upholstery.
On the power front, the 2017 Mahindra Scorpio Adventure Edition gets tha same 2.2-litre mHawk diesel unit that capable of making 120bhp of maximum power and a peak torque rating of 280Nm while being offered with a 5-speed manual only. The interested customers will be able to choose the new 2017 Mahindra Scorpio Adventure Edition from both, 2WD and 4WD variants which are based on the standard SUV’s S10 variant. Mahindra has priced the new 2017 Mahindra Scorpio Adventure Edition at Rs. 13.10 lakhs for 2WD variant and Rs. 14.20 lakhs for the more rugged go-anywhere 4WDvariant, (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
