Previously Mahindra only offered the turbocharged mHawk mill for the TUV300’s T8+ and T10+ variants. This was also available with the AMT gearbox of the T8+ and T10+ variant. Customers who used to opt for the T4+ and T6+ variants couldn’t get the powerful engine and had to compromise with the unpowered engine which would produce 86bhp of power.
To improve its hold in the Indian automotive market, Mahindra took into consideration of the feedback received from its customers and launched the turbocharged mHawk engine in the lower variants. This turbocharged mHawk engine churns out 100bhp of power and now customers can enjoy this powerful enjoy in the lower variants.
