Suzuki Burgman Street Revealed at Auto Expo at 2018. Scooter is a radical looking one with a 125cc engine
The renowned brand Suzuki has come up with a classy scooter for India called the Burgman Street. The Burgman is Suzuki’s brand of flagship scooter which is being sold in the global markets in various factions such as the 125cc, 200cc, 250cc, 400cc and 600cc guises. The maxi-scooter is being focussed and carefully developed in India to cater to the needs of the premium scooter faction. While the engine specifications are not yet known, it would be very much safe and advisable to assume that the Burgman Street may share the 125cc engine from the Access 125 or it may possibly feature a completely new 150cc powertrain.
The Burgman Street is a feature-packed scooter that will be offering goodies like the fully-digital instrument cluster, a generous under seat storage, a 12V charging socket, safety disc brakes, cool telescopic forks, bright LED headlight and vibrant tail-light and supporting tubeless tyres. While giving more focus to the level of comfort, the Burgman Street is most probably expected to come shod with fatter rubber tyres, but still, the rim size could measure as much as 14-inches. The scooter could sport an exclusively designed front end with a large apron and a windscreen.
The model shown here has adapted the mirrors from the Gixxer and the exhaust too seems to have a unique, but quite an interesting design. As any Burgman scooter would have, the seat will be very large and comfortable with a noticeable step between the rider and pillion pads. The prices of the scooter are supposed to be around 70,000-75,000 INR. The Burgman will also challenge the Aprilia SR 150 and the Vespa 150. As the scooters are attaining an increased acceptance in both urban and rural sections of India, it’s definitely high time that the automakers offer us with premium scooters with more power and more comfort.
