Remember the Tata Tiago NRG? Don’t worry if you don’t. It was sold a couple of years ago and discontinued when the facelifted Tiago and Tigor arrived in early 2020. The Tiago NRG was a raised hatchback with a rugged appeal based on the standard Tiago.

The Tiago NRG is the rugged and adventurous avatar of the New Tiago. Its SUV inspired design with muscular and rugged exteriors make a bold style statement while its feature-loaded sporty & premium interiors, make it stand out. It is available in both Manual/AMT transmission and come with a Powerful 1.2L Revotron Petrol Engine, under the hood.

Under the bonnet, the Tata Tiago NRG gets the 1.2-litre petrol engine that develops 86PS and 113Nm of peak torque, paired with the 5-speed manual and the AMT unit. The previous version got the 1.05-litre diesel as well, but the automaker discontinued this engine option on the Tiago with the BS6 update. The model will compete against the Renault Kwid and the Maruti Suzuki Celerio X. The latter though is will soon make way for the new-generation Celerio that’s scheduled to arrive later this year.
