Bajaj Plans 6 New Motorcycles in the next six months as most of them will be commuters and two of them will be performance oriented
Bajaj seems to have ambitious plans for the upcoming year. The motorcycle manufacturer has already launched the popular V15 this year and now it has around 6 more products in its lineup to launch over the next six months. Yes, this comes as a surprise when you start considering the lineup looks complete in the commuter segment. The segment is finally well sorted after a lot of discontinuation of products and launching a few. As we know, the performance area is still incomplete because we are seeing test mules of the Bajaj CS400 over the last few months and the launch is set to happen next month, around this time.
Bajaj will be primarily launching products in the commuter segment. The report suggest that the brand is looking to increase its market share in the premium commuter segment where it does well with the Pulsar 135 and now the Bajaj V15. The Pulsar 135 LS has been given a price cut to begin with. With a reduction of Rs. 4500, it retails at Rs. 56,500 ex-showroom Delhi.
Bajaj could launch a product which could rival the newly TVS Victor, Honda Livo and others in the segment, which includes the Mahindra Centuro as well. Bajaj has the Discover 100, but it isn’t exactly premium when it comes to features, but, it is mechanically, a fully loaded package. We think this is the place where Bajaj plans to launch new products.
Other products could include a powerful version of the V series of motorcycle. We think the V begs for a bigger engine to go with its newly found fame and success. What next? Well since there are six months left to the next year, we will keep getting our answers every single month over the next six months!
