Hero Ismart 110cc Launched in India, All The Details, Here!

Hero Ismart 110cc is one of the many launches in the 110cc category, and this time it is the market leader and comes with start-stop technology

Hero is finally getting things right. According to couple of new launches from the brand, it suggests that it has finally its own engine and chassis technology to make sure it is clear of Honda’s dependence. For some reasons and treaties, it is allowed to use Honda engines till date. However, Hero is making before it ends abruptly, it has its own technology.

This year, we saw the launch of Hero scooter siblings such as Maestro Edge and Duet which had Hero engines. The motorcycles needed the same and it had announced two years ago that it has fired three motorcycle engines of its own. One of them was the 110cc engine and now after showcasing it at the Auto Expo 2016, it has launched the Ismart version of the same engine. Hero claims best in class everything, launch is commenced, let’s have a deeper look.

Hero Ismart 110cc Design and colors

A lot has changed in terms of design as every panel on the motorcycle is new. New head lamps, tail-lamps, side panels are large and flowing all the from the engine till the tail-lamp. Dual color paint scheme, all black lower half of the motorcycle, red springs for suspension all add flair. Needless to say many color options will also make sure they help grab attention.

Showcased at 2016 Auto Expo and later launched in the month of July 2016 an is priced at 53,300 ex-showroom Delhi and 53,100 ex-showroom Mumbai.

Hero Ismart 110cc Chassis, suspension and brakes

The chassis has been revised and so has the suspension. There is a new dual cradle frame and the new engine is vertically mounted. There are drum brakes on both ends, and disc brake should follow in the future.

Hero Ismart 110cc Mileage

A fuel efficiency claim of 95 km/l and it should deliver around 70 km/l in real-life conditions. Surely the numbers are slightly lower than the 100cc variant of the iSmart, which uses the Honda engine.

Hero Ismart 110cc Engine & Specification

The numbers are less efficient because the engine has gone higher in displacement, makes more power and torque by a huge margin. The engine creates 9.4 PS of power and 9 Nm of torque. Engine is highly refined, optimized for less friction, more flow and better combustion.
