Honda today dropped a teaser saying to maintain pin drop silence as they launch a BSVI scooter. Pin drop and BS6 don’t go hand in hand as the electric version do not need to comply to emission norms and its only the internal combustion engine need to be BS6 compliant. This is it. The Honda Elite Fi BS6 Scooter spotted on video wearing an all new edgy body work and the silhouette being of the Honda Dio.
The main thing to notice first and foremost is the inclusion of the telescopic forks at the front. There are multiple colors used all around. There is a chrome exhaust with a plastic heat shield with carbon fibre being used all around the rear and on the exhaust heat shield to make it look sporty. Several Fi badges can be seen around the scooter.
Honda Elite Fi BS6 Scooter will also get a brand new digital console which looks futuristic and should offer a lot of goodies. Will it be on par the Ntorq, we will see. The engine, we cannot guess for now, but it could be a 125 or 150cc or the usual 110cc engine. The Honda Elite Fi could be anything and specs are not out yet so we cannot say much yet. It does get alloy wheels on both end which is a great addition.
Which wheel is 12 or 10-inch is yet to be known as well. This is quite radical output from HMSi from the recent past as BS6, which we told you time and again will change the market and make it far more advanced, but in a way that suits Indian customers need. Better suspension and Fi engine in a scooter from Honda is a welcome move. Let’s wait and watch what other details that will follow as launch is just two weeks away.
