Mahindra TUV 300 Plus (Xylo Replacement) was much needed as the old platform did not age well either
Mahindra was all silent till the date as all its products in every segment are here. Sub-four meter to all the way till Rexton. The SUV is either Monocoque to ladder on frame. There is the Scorpio and XUV doing major volumes. TUV and NuvoSport do just about fine. TUV 300 Plus was rumoured earlier by Mahindra itself and it is finally spotted completely undisguised in this detailed HD video.
Mahindra TUV 300 Plus Design and Dimensions
On the face of it, nothing hasn’t changed much. We expect a revised grille, a similar looking side profile, but elongated to properly accommodate 7-9 passengers a boot big enough to be around 600-litre mark. Think of it as an estate version of an SUV. Dimensions are still set to be under four meters to make sure Mahindra gets the tax benefits that it can forward to customers. Rear tail-lamps, new alloy wheels and whee cladding with square wheel arches will come with the new SUV. There are a lot of hood scoops to make sure it has the visual goodies to attract customers.
Mahindra TUV 300 Plus Interiors and Features
The similar interior seen before will be seen here with a subtle twist. Beige and black colors will be used. Features list will include connectivity option, fuel efficiency parameters in the cluster, electric ORVM’s, climate control, front and rear armrest along with four-six speakers will be seen in the features list.
Mahindra TUV 300 Plus Chassis, suspension and brakes
Ladder on frame chassis with the typical suspension on all four ends will be seen on the car. Disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear will be revised to suit the new role. 15-inch wheels will be standard, 16-inch should be seen on the higher variant.
Mahindra TUV 300 Plus Price and Launch
Pricing should start around Rs. 8 Lakhs and launch should happen in November 2017.
Mahindra TUV 300 Plus Engine And Specification
1.5 litre 100 BHP and 250 Nm of torque are the numbers what the motor should produce. The motor will come mated to an 5-speed gearbox. There will be no 4×4 on option this time.

Dual airbags and ABS will be standard on all variants of this MPV.
