2018 Honda Activa i gets new color options with decal changes to spice things up for the MY2018

2018 Activa i gets a stylish new meter console with ‘Blue’ backlit, making it new. Adding convenience are handy 4-in-1 lock with Seat Opener Switch, front hook and metal muffler protector. Making the Activa i even more exciting are the two new colours NEW Candy Jazzy Blue / NEW Matt Axis Grey Metallic in addition to the existing 3 options (Lush Magenta Metallic / Orchid Purple Metallic / Imperial Red Metallic). 2018 Honda Activa i BSIV Design and Dimensions

The design remains the same as before. The front apron is slim as before, the headlight unit is the same wide unit and the rest of the body panels which are long and sharp continue to be the same. The rear short and stubby. The new blue color that we see looks rather good on the scooter. The overall design is just on the verge being dated, but then the new colors clearly take things forward to the next level.

2018 Honda Activa i Chassis, suspension and brakes

The same strong underbone chassis but the poor suspension at the front continues. The rear has a single monoshock unit which is on offer. No disc offered here and there are drums on offer. Ride quality isn’t its forte but the handling is acceptable but not enthusiastic.

2018 Honda Activa i Engine And Specification

The engine is the same as before. All though no word of BSIV engine yet, the scooter continues to get the 109cc HET engine that makes around 8 PS of power and 8 Nm of torque. The air-cooled engine is known to be reliable and does city duties quite well. The lighest kerb weight in the category is seeing on the Activa i as it just weighs 103 kgs.
