2017 Hyundai Verna India Launch Set For August 22 which is next week and a whole host of images have leaked out without any disguise on them at dealership yards

Hyundai is making sure that they clearly have one superior product every year in the market to woo audience. Three years till date cars like Grand i10, Elite i20 and Creta have come and ruled the market and sales chart as well. Now, it looks like the car which is most probably winning the award as well is the brand new Hyundai Verna. 2017 Hyundai Verna India launch is set for August and we can expect car to be a game changer as it is set to get mild hybrid system along with various features and as always many options to choose from in terms of power trains and trims. We have possible details of the car below along with new spyshots from India this time.

2017 Hyundai Verna – Engine, Gearbox and Mileage

Engine wise, the old Verna was already a proven one. The 1.6 diesel and petrol motors are great in performance, NVH and much more. Efficiency can be better and so can be the automatic gearbox. We can see the use of a 6-speed automatic now and the 4-speed has been shown the bin. 128 BHP from both petrol and diesel motors mated to a manual in standard trim can be expected. Expect Diesel to deliver 24-25 km/l this time and petrol to deliver 16-17 km/l.

2017 Hyundai Verna Design and Dimensions

Design wise the most radical change is at the rear. It has become way larger and wider than before when it comes to the looks. Side profile has seen a change, but it is small one and largely, it will remind you of the older Verna. Front though has changed and it has Elite i20 inspired headlights, a large grille, even then the one which the current 4S has. Large 15/16 inch wheels will fill up the wells and will have cool design to choose from.

2017 Hyundai Verna – Chassis, suspension and Brakes

With the new Verna 4S in the current generation, the suspension setup is set to be really well sorted. However, the chassis needs more stiffening and it needs to perform better and be in sync with the well tuned suspension. All around disc brakes will be seen on the car to make sure the performance for the same is top-notch.

2017 Hyundai Verna Interiors and Features

All connectivity options will be given along with a new touch-screen unit that will measure around 7-8 inches. Climate control, auto wipers and headlight and much more can be expected as well. These pictures do not show projector headlight, but they should come in the Indian specific model because almost all its rival have it. Fully electric ORVM, lot of storage and media options along with Apple and Android car play is expected.

2017 Hyundai Verna Launch and Price

Prices will start around the Rs. 8 lakh mark for the Verna and end at Rs. 14-15 lakhs. Expect everything to be seen on the top-end variant along with automatic gearbox. Launch is set for August 22 2017.

2017 Hyundai Verna Safety Features

ABS and EBD along with dual airbags will come as standard most likely. Top variants will get 6 airbag options and more passive electronic features as standard.
