Bajaj Pulsar 250F More Details Easily Visible In New Spyshots!

Bajaj Auto is working on a new Pulsar 250. That’s something we’ve been telling you for a while now. The new flagship offering in the Pulsar range is expected its own brand new engine made from scratch which is seen here in spy shots which is air/oil-cooled. This will slot above the current Pulsar NS and RS 200. A semi-faired test mule of the Bajaj Pulsar 250 has been spotted out in the open, and this could be badged as the Pulsar 250F upon launch. What we also see is much more details of the naked version seen up close in new spyshots.

What we can see is a large rectangular speedometer on both motorcycles. They are liked to be TFT display units without color. We know that these Bajaj Pulsar bikes will be affordable as before despite they will get the most sophisticated suspension, engines, and chassis setup. We can also see a LED DRL that runs through the entire four corners of the headlamp giving it a very unique look. Projector lamps and LED light and LED DRL will up the premium quotient of the motorcycle.

The camouflaged test mule gives out little detail on the design front but we do gather a great deal on what we can come to expect from the Bajaj Pulsar 250F. Notable details include a quarter fairing adjoining the headlamp section and the fuel tank. It also gets fairing-mounted rearview mirrors and clip-on handlebars. The tail section is all new and it looks great and it will be an LED unit. Dual-port exhaust is also seen for the first time. Monoshock, Sticky MRF REV-Z tyres are also visible in the video.

Other components like the suspension, alloy wheels, tyre hugger, disc brakes and the stubby exhaust muffler will remain the same on the Pulsar 250 range, along with the 250 cc engine that will get the DTS-i treatment to adapt into the Bajaj Pulsar family. Expect the motor to be detuned to produce about 25PS of power, and will come paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Could Bajaj surprise us with a slipper clutch? We’d like to see that.

The Bajaj Pulsar 220F remains one of the most successful motorcycles from the brand even after nearly a decade and a half. Timely updates and exciting performance makes it a strong performer despite the age. So it makes sense why the company would want to replicate the same theme with the 250F, especially once you consider the 220F outsells the RS 200 in the Pulsar family. The model will primarily compete with the Suzuki Gixxer 250 range that also gets a naked and full-faired choice.
