Kawasaki Ninja 400 India Launch is done and comes at a high price of Rs. 4.69 lakhs ex-showroom. KTM RC390 is Rs.3 lakhs cheaper!

Ninja 400, which was released the previous year, in the month of October, is now all geared up to participate in the rambling competition in India. The Ninja H2-inspired motorcycle will take over the Ninja 300 which has quite a good fan following in the country. The Ninja 400 India launch is done and it will make the other bikes like KTM RC 390, Benelli 302R and Yamaha R3.

Showing off its acute attire, which has been activated from the super sport faction, the Kawasaki Ninja 400 has the capability to win the game merely by its looks. The bike proudly dons two 5-spoke black alloy wheels, LED headlamps, flush-fitting front blinkers, an apt exhaust pipe and chin spoilers as an addendum to its front-heavy stance. The LCD instrument assuage comes armed with a gear position indicator as well.

The Kawasaki Ninja 400 is being powered by a 399cc, twin-cylinder, DOHC engine that churns out a stunning 49 HP of power at 10,000 RPM and produces 38 Nm of torque at 8000 RPM. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. The lightweight trellis frame, is the main reason of the motorcycle being 6 kgs lighter than its antecedent, tipping the scales at 168 kgs when wet. This plus point regarding the weight of the vehicle will help the Ninja 400 to offer improved economy, performance and handling.

The Ninja 400 is pendulous on 41 mm telescopic forks in the up front portion and a mono-shock unit at the rear. The vehicle is aided by the super supportive ABS breaking system, wherein a 310 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear disc are responsible for performing the braking duties at crucial moments.
