Mahindra Marazzo ingress in the Indian car market and competition against other MPVs in India has begun in a true Mahindra way, which is by offering many powertrain options. This was one of the first models to roll out of the production line with Pininfarina’s touch on it. Now, a Mahindra Marazzo Diesel AMT is on its way.
The car had a price bracket of INR 9.9 lakhs to INR 13.90 lakhs depending on the trim being offered. Marazzo packs in 1.5litre 4 cylinder Diesel motor cranking out 121bhp and 300 Nm of torque. And this has been the only engine option till date, but the trim does vary from M2 to M8 models.
The car does tick quite some boxes when it comes to the prominent features being offered and stands equal if not tall compared to the competition. And since a couple of weeks we all have been harping about the AMT with petrol and diesel’s coming and now the diesel AMT is confirmed. All the manufacturers from A to Z have been on a burst of speed to upgrade their fleet to offering automatics with petrol and diesel and Mahindra is also on that course.
BS6 Mahindra Marazzo Diesel AMT is expected to be the most fuel-efficient MPV in its class with all the capabilities. With all these additions, Mahindra has a fair chance to put out a Petrol variant of Marazzo in the market with an automatic and manual and enhance its customer reach and sales figures even higher. BS6 Mahindra Marazzo Diesel AMT pricing will be Rs. 60-70,000 will be increased over the manual version which sounds great value for money. Stay tuned for information on specs, variants and official pricing to come very soon!
