At a parking lot in South Korea, the 2019 Hyundai Tucson was spotted. The Hyundai Tucson facelift was unveiled at the 2018 NYIAS which was held in the month of March.
Aesthetically, the 2019 Hyundai Tucson is offered with tweaked headlamps with LED Daytime Running Lights and a redesigned bumper at the front. It also features Hyundai’s signature cascading grille. Moving towards the side profile, new Hyundai Tucson runs on a new design alloy wheels. While at the back, the 2019 Hyundai Tucson Facelift gets a new design bumper and exhaust finisher. It also gets new graphics and a redesigned tail lamp unit.
Inside, the company has offered many tweaks and updates to the 2019 Hyundai Tucson Facelift. Starting from the front, 2019 Hyundai Tucson Facelift gets a newly design central console unit and horizontal air vents. The dashboard unit also holds a floating 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This 2019 Hyundai Tucson Facelift also will come equipped with Qi wireless charging unit and the second row gets a USB charging unit. Coming towards the safety features Hyundai is offering Smart cruise control system with stop and go feature, high beam assist and it also gets surround view monitor.
Under the hood of the 2019 Hyundai Tucson Facelift, is a newly introduced 1.6-litre diesel unit in two versions. The first version of this engine is mated with a 6-speed manual gearbox and it generates 115PS of power which is delivered to the front two wheels. While the second version of this engine comes with an optional 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual clutch transmission which generates 133 PS of power and this version gets AWD as an option.
2019 Hyundai Tucson Facelift India specific model get a 2.0-litre diesel and petrol mills, and the engine is now tweaked and it generates 186 PS of power. This engine is coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission and it also gets an 8-speed automatic transmission as an option. Its predecessor model used to get a 6-speed automatic transmission.
