What was born as a concept named Future-Sis now to be seen on the production line and will wear the Maruti S-Presso badge. Maruti Suzuki plans to hit the hatchback car market by a storm with what’s about to be the brand spanking new car, Maruti Suzuki S-Presso. S-Presso will be not any but a premium alternative to the Alto K10 and will house a 1.0 litre mill with two transmission options, both manual and automatic. Of these two, first one will be a 5 speed manual and the second option will comprise of an AMT.
It won’t be too long of a wait for the S-Presso to be launched in India and so the scheduled launch is around October 2019.The S-Presso seems to be another lucrative product to drive out of the factory and hopefully leave a mark in the automotive industry with it’s futuristic looks and features.
Maruti S-Presso has been designed in-house, completely and is a direct rival to the Renault Kwid,Datsun redi-Go. Talking about the interior, the car is likely to feature touch screen infotainment system, reverse camera and safety net inclusive of ABS with EBD, a couple of airbags and quite some more features to be discovered. The car will lay it’s grounds between the Alto K10 and the well known Wagon-R.
Money talks, the expected hot seller can fall a little shy of INR 4 lakhs thereby standing firm against the rival in every aspect. October hosting the festive season of country seems a good time to launch the car. Maruti S-Presso without a doubt will be BS-VI compliant and also aims to the younger crowd with supposedly SUV like style.
