TVS is all set to launch a new variant of its Jupiter scooter in India. Called Jupiter Grande 5G, this new addition will come equipped with a host of new features to attract more customers in the upcoming festive season. All the launch preparations are completed and the new variant has already started arriving at the company’s dealerships. Just so you know, the Jupiter is one of the largest selling scooters from the TVS and is contributing handsomely to the company’s profit.
The additional features in Jupiter Grande 5G include a LED headlamp – a very first for any TVS scooter in India. Not only this feature contributes to the aesthetics but also help in improving safety during the night riding. The instrument cluster will be semi-Digital and house the digital trip meter, fuel gauge, and a clock. TVS has also refurbished the seat for extra comfort and the inner panel now comes finished in beige color.
The company will offer both disc and drum brake options in the Grande 5G. The disc-brake variant will sport machined alloys and adjustable monoshock suspension system for the extra riding comfort. It is also likely that TVS will introduce new trendy color options for Jupiter Grande 5G.
No mechanical changes are expected on the new version though. It will derive power from a Single-cylinder, 110cc engine putting out 8bhp along with 8Nm of max torque. The company claims 62kmpl for the Jupiter which is a very competitive figure.
TVS Jupiter recently crossed the 2.5 million units in sales milestone. It was also awarded the most appealing executive scooter by J.D. Power 2018 Two-Wheeler Automotive Product Execution & Layout (2WAPEAL) Study. Launched in 2013, TVS Jupiter has always delivered exceptional value in terms of both features as well as riding experience. With multiple accolades to its name, it is also the fastest scooter to reach the 1 million sales mark, 30 months after its launch.
TVS Jupiter is available in three variants namely Base, ZX (Disc and Drum) and Classic. The Base and ZX variants are available in a colour selection of Royal Wine, Matte Blue, Stallion Brown, Titanium Grey, Midnight Black, Volcano Red, Pristine White and Mystic Gold. The TVS Jupiter Classic is available in Sunlit Ivory and Autumn Brown colours.
TVS Jupiter Grande comes in both Disc and Drum variants and is priced at:
Disc: Rs. 59648 (Ex showroom Delhi)
Drum: Rs. 55936 (Ex showroom Delhi)
