TVS Star City Plus BSIV With AHO to meet emission and safety norms of 2017 guidelines from the government.

TVS has come up with the all new 2017 versions of TVS Star City plus which is TVS Motor Company’s very well known commuter motorcycle. TVS Star City plus was first showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, The bike is an updated version of its predecessor commuter Star City. The newer version now comes with several added features and cosmetic changes and is available with an option of electric start. TVS Star City Plus details are as followed.

TVS Star City Plus BSIV Design and Dimensions

The bike is said to be available in 10 different colour options to choose from: Chocolate Gold, White Gold, Black Gold, Black Silver, Black Blue, Matte Grey, Titanium Grey, Oscar Black, Showstopper Blue and Celebrity Black. In terms of design it continues to be the same with same panels, headlamp, fuel tank, tail-lamp and rear tail-piece design. The new colours help in enhancing the look of the motorcycle.

TVS Star City Plus BSIV Chassis, suspension and brakes

The diamond frame continues to be on offer. The front suspension hydraulic telescopic forks and the rear offers 5-step adjustable dual shocks. There are drum units on both ends in terms of brakes, the disc brake is an optional unit. Tyre Size at the front is 2.75×17. Tyre Size at the rear is 3.00 x 17

The Star City plus was launched in April 2017, Price list is as below.

2017 TVS Star City Plus BSIV Engine And Specification

The motorcycle is powered by a revised Ecothrust 110 cc which produces 8.3 bhp and 8.7 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a four speed Gearbox and the bike is said to return a fuel efficiency of 86 kmpl. Star City Plus has a mileage of 86 kmpl and carries a top speed of 90 kmph.

There is AHO on offer with this motorcycle. Features added to the bike are new alloy wheels, coloured shock absorbers, clear lens indicators and a number plate illuminator. It also gets a new instrument cluster with analogue speedometer with digital information display
