Akrapovic Launches New Exhaust For Apache RR 310 which gives a big boost in performance
Performance mods are something we love carrying out on our rides. And when talking performance, exhaust system mods are often hotly discussed. Changing your exhaust system to an aftermarket one is a rather simple and worry-free mod which you can do. It changes the sound of the motorcycle and also comes with performance advantages.
Ask any superbike owner which aftermarket exhaust brand they trust and the immediate answer is – Akrapovic. Akrapovic is very famous brand renowned internationally for its quality and heritage. This Slovenian giant also provides full exhaust systems for the top level racing championships like World Superbike, Moto GP, British Superbike and a many more.
Worry not however as along with superbikes, Akrapovic caters to a wider range of audience including scooters and 125cc motorcycles as well.
Here, however, we’re focussing on their new product which is launched for the happening bike in India – The TVS Apache RR 310. Akrapovic has launched a full system exhaust for the 310. Touted as Akrapovic Racing Line exhaust, this kit offers a bump in power of 2.4 Hp and an increase in torque of 2.7 Nm.
While these numbers might not seem significant, Akrapovic states that the system increases power and engine responsiveness throughout the powerband. To make the deal even sweeter, the system shaves weight of 4.6 kilos and that’s because it is made using lighter and advanced materials. We all know that quality comes at a price and so does this exhaust. It retails for a price tag of INR 55,000. This system can be purchased at the Performance Racing Store which is located in Mumbai.
This exhaust system is similar to the one designed for the BMW G 310R, which isn’t surprising considering the fact that both of them share the same heart. For the geeks, the Apache RR 310 comes with a single cylinder 313cc engine that is good for 34 Hp of power and 27.3 Nm of torque. This exhaust kit takes the total output to 36.4 Hps and 30 Nm of torque. This exhaust is a direct fit to the Apache and does not require a remap or any other electrical and mechanical adjustments.
